Staff Clowning Around
04 Jul 2010
The annual Dragon Boat Race on the River Nene in Peterborough brought out the fighting spirit for FPM and their team mates from Accent Nene Housing Association. The joint team dressed as clowns for the 200 metre rowing race and won the trophy for Best Dressed Crew. They also won the trophy for raising the most money for the race's official charity - East Anglian Children's Hospices and finished third out of 15 crews. Having set themselves a target of raising £2,000 in sponsorship money in total FPM and Accent Nene rasised £3,522.
Emma Lane - FPM Response Manager said "we always enjoy the opportunity to work with our Partners to support the local communities. Our staff and operatives thoroughly enjoyed a chance to get together with our colleagues at Accent Nene and we are proud of the effort put in by the whole team to raise money for such a worthy cause".
